Annual Table Topic and International Speech Contests

First Place – Elaine, Second Place – Hamid, Third Place – Bright.

Table Topics Contest Winners:
First Place – Hamid, Second Place – Ellery, Third Place – Kermit.


Announcements:

• We had great contests with 16 participants, 7 for speech contest and 9 for table topic contest. Thank you everyone involved especially Fran, Phil, Steve P. and Cathy for making it entertaining, educational and informative.

• The first and second places of each contest will present Dogwood Toastmasters at the area contest which will be held on Feb. 12. Therefore, Elaine and Hamid will attend International Speech contest, and Hamid and Ellery will be at Table Topics Contest in area level, respectively.

• Hamid wowed the audiences with his 10th speech towards CC manual.

• Some officers will miss the meeting due to TLI training on Jan.29.
