It's been a little while, but our "Dogwood Barker" club newsletter is back! (click here to download)
I'd like to thank Edwinna, Sharyn, and Josephinefor writing articles... as well as our Area Governors Ron, Phil, Barbara, and Bob agreeing to interviews. Putting this thing together was an educational experience on many levels!
Provided that there is enough interest and material, I'm looking ahead toward a quarterly schedule. That means the next issue will come out around year-end. So I hope this inspires you to try your hand at a little creating writing for the next issue! I believe there are even some projects in the various Leadership manuals that involve assisting with the newsletter. Pretty much anything of interest to Toastmasters is fair game... be it "One-Minute Toastmaster"-type material, recaps of our club social events, information about the Area or District level and beyond, or even biographies of your fellow club members to practice interviewing skills. We could also definitely use more pictures the next time around, so don't be shy about snapping some shots when we have events!
